My mom and late dad have been visiting Sedona, AZ, sometimes multiple times per year, since 1996. “I don’t think we ever missed a year after that, so it’s been 20 years!” With amazing hiking trails and breathtaking views, Sedona has been a favorite place of theirs to visit every year. Below, my mom shares her impression of the best hiking trails in Sedona from her visit last month.
One of the delights I experience when I visit Sedona, AZ is hiking some of the trails in the area. I’m not an “extreme” hiker, but there are many trails that even someone of my fitness level can enjoy. I visited Sedona in March and hiked almost every day. Each hike I took was different, yet all gave me the opportunity to enjoy beautiful views and bask in the breathtaking red red landscape. Here are a few pictures taken from 3 different trails: Little Horse, Coffee Pot and Chuckwagon. (Don’t you love these names?)
i’ve been wanting to go to arizona! these hikes look great. my fiancé and i really have enjoyed all the hikes we have done, so almost all our vacations revolve around great trails
