The day before we left on our family roadtrip from Wisconsin to New Mexico, we were blessed with a double rainbow over our house. We left on our family vacation with my 3 boys and adorable wife from Mineral Point, Wisconsin and drove into Kansas City, MO where we crashed hard!

The next day we left and had lunch at Joe’s BBQ in Kansas City, KS and made our way 6 hours later to Enid, OK where we were adorned with the slowest wifi which tether my 3G connection was more helpful. We had big plans for digging crystals which where foiled quickly as the heat scared us off (102 F.)

That brings us to today where we sped out of Oklahoma bound quickly for NM and 8 hours later we’ve arrived in Santa Fe, NM where we ate and put the kids to bed for a night out on the Santa Fe Plaza. Our accommodations included a double queen room with restaurant/bar and shuttle service at The Lodge at Santa Fe. Well done in all Dept’s!!
