What’s a Find It game? Identity Games, the company behind Find It and Poopyhead games, calls Find It a “contained adventure”. We like to think of Find It as a road trip hack which both kids and adults can have fun playing while passing the time on a car ride or waiting for a sibling’s baseball game to finish.

It’s interesting to learn from the folks at Identity Games that the each of the 52 pieces, inside the Find It Discover America game, represent a unique item from each of the United States (plus a penny and one piece to find for Washington D.C.). With full concentration aimed at the Find It Discover America game, my son Oliver found a number of items including the peanut (Alabama); the snake; the ball of twine (Minnesota) and a few more.

All three of my boys found interest in searching for items in both Find It games however Oliver, my youngest song at 4 years old, spent the most time enjoying the Find It games. I also observed that overall, the most exciting object to search for in both Find It games was the hidden treasures aka “mystery items”—we looked for the sparkling poo in the Find It Eww Gross game and the silver camper in the Discover America game.
