This weekend, we took a trip to my mother’s in the Western suburbs of Chicagoland with my three boys and my sister while my wife stayed back home for some alone time. The highlights of our trip (besides catching up with my sister and mom) were Safari Land arcades and amusements in Addison, IL and Cantigny Park in Winfield, IL while ending the day with a campfire. Our last morning started with a walk near Grandma’s and some playtime outside before hitting the pavement to head back home to beautiful Wisconsin.

Safari Land in Villa Park, IL just off North Ave, Rte, 64 has many arcade games and rides for all ages including many little kid ride ons which take $.50 in tokens.

After a visit to Cantigny in Winfield, I splurged with a shopping trip to Kohls for some Urban PIPLINE Relaxed fit Bootcut jeans!

Cantigny features a huge museum with displays of all the wars which American’s have fought in.
