This summer, our big family vacation is at Lake Mitchel near Cadillac, Michigan at a beautiful lake house called “Lake Mitchel Retreat” which we rented via Airbnb.

Our road trip to the lake house was three hours from Wisconsin to Grandma’s house in Chicagoland where we stayed overnight then another five hours from Illinois, through Indiana into Michigan.
